William Tell Overture

[edit]

Feel free to make the change, but you'd be better off asking User:GuillaumeTell about why it was redirected: all I did was take out someone's talk about a video game appearance and move it to the pop culture article (with what is now a confusing edit summary). GuillaumeTell came behind me and converted it into a redirect (thus not actually a move). William Tell Overture can be converted back by going into History and editing the last entry before it was redirected (which is mine, despite the name; GuillaumeTell tried another redirect before thinking better of it). Budapest

[edit]

Hi! I have made a revision to the article Budapest where I took away the nickname "Paris of the East" giving an explanation there. You have undone my revision. Why?? --Mocu 11:28, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leviathans and plurals

[edit]

In Sea Monster you tried to link to leviathan with this:

[[leviathan|leviathans]].

Linking plurals is easier than that; you can put:

[[leviathan]]s

and it will look like leviathans. I hope this advice helps you in future edits. Totnesmartin 10:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pandæmonium

[edit]

Please don't cut-and-paste articles to a new location, as you did with Pandæmonium (Paradise Lost). Help:Moving a page will give you detail on how it is done properly and why. I also do not agree with the assertion that Pandæmonium (Paradise Lost) is the primary meaning of "Pandæmonium", making it unsuitable to be moved to Pandæmonium. You can however ask for a page move (and other editors' input) at Wikipedia:Requested moves. In the meantime, I have reverted your edits regarding the two pages. Greetings, :-) – sgeureka t•c 19:18, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

edit: I see there was a move debate quite recently, and there was opposition (see Talk:Pandæmonium#Requested move). – sgeureka t•c 19:21, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Typo redirect Haupseite

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Haupseite, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Haupseite is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Haupseite, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 12:00, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
